Have you struggled with trusting God during painful seasons of life?

Bitterness to Blooms is Christina Delgado Brown’s personal story and Scripture commentary inspired by God’s redemptive work in biblical deserts and wildernesses. Brown presents a thorough study of these Bible stories to apply their messages to our modern understanding of waiting on God while suffering in the figurative “wilderness.”

She begins by challenging readers to examine the core beliefs and perspectives that could impact their faith and interpretation of how God works in and around all of us. Brown then takes the reader on a journey through various figurative wildernesses to learn how to encounter God through His Word, even in the most difficult of circumstances.

While God often leads His people into the “wilderness,” His plan is not for us to be a wilderness. Through the redemptive power of the Gospel, God can transform our wildernesses into life-giving gardens. Complete with interactive application questions and biblical references, Bitterness to Blooms teaches its readers how to see God’s hand in the challenging seasons of life and allow Him to transform our most painful experiences into the most redeeming ones.

Bitterness to Blooms will be released in Spring 2026. Check back soon for links to purchase!

“True gratitude has less to do with the visible things of this earth and more to do with the invisible character and nature of God, the sustainer and giver of life.”

“Too often, we allow our circumstances to inform our view of God rather than our view of God to inform our perspective of our circumstances.”
